Dr. Timothy N. Dozier, D.C.

My Background

I was born and raised in Washington State. Shortly after graduation from high school in 1987, I moved to Roseville where I attended Sierra College. Like many students, I was unsure of my passion and chose marketing as my major. During this period of time, I suffered from severe headaches and since I was working part-time at a pharmacy, I sought relief from pain medication. I found this relief to be only temporary and the headaches came back with a vengeance. I was miserable.

During this time my mother married my step father, whose profession is Chiropractic. He suggested that Chiropractic care might provide some relief. I was willing to try anything and consented. Within four visits, I was free of headaches and completely off pain medication. I was impressed! The medication was simply masking my pain, whereas the adjustments actually fixed what was causing the pain. This was amazing! At that point, I committed my life to a pathway of healing both myself and others.

My commitment created an extended course of study resulting in my graduation from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1995. I practiced with my step father from 1995 to 2000 continuing to hone my skills to become even more effective as a healer. In 2000, I opened my own practice. My treatment plans are specifically tailored to my patient's condition and needs. In addition to adjustments, I may use physical therapy including moist heat, traction, electrical stimulation or massage. My goal is to actively involve my patients in their care. I ensure they are always instructed in the proper use of heat/ice, as well as stretching and strengthening exercises that may speed recovery. Most patients respond quickly to care and require only four or five office visits. I do not schedule patients for lengthy treatment plans.

In addition to my Chiropractic practice, I also offer Nutrition and Lifestyle Counseling. Separate from my Chiropractic practice, I sit down one on one with individuals and perform a full health analysis including; height, weight, blood pressure, body fat %, BMI, in addition to a Real-Age Assessment. The goal is to attain better health, by establishing a plan and a path with me as your coach.

On a personal level, I met the most wonderful woman in the world, Heidi, while attending Sierra College. We were married in 1995. In addition to being the wife of my dreams, she is a devoted mother to our two daughters, Caitlin age 9 and Emma age 6. We live in Rocklin and my girls attend Parker Whitney Elementary School where Heidi went to school at their age. Heidi serves as Vice President on the PTC Board, works in the Library, and is also an art docent in the girls' classes. I coach Caitlin soccer team and Emma wants to know when I will coach hers.

My goal is for your health and speedy recovery. My commitment is to provide extraordinary Chiropractic care such that you will automatically refer me to your friends and relatives. I look forward to our working together to achieve your desired health goals
